Anywhere, a large real estate conglomerate, reached agreements with the plaintiffs of the Moehrl and Sitzer/Burnett suits. The outcome of the settlements is intended to resolve two separate cases involving questionable sales practices.

The first case involved allegations of fraud, case of interference with contractual relations, and breach of fiduciary duties stemming from a business transaction between Anywhere and Mr. Moehrl. Anywhere agreed to pay out an undisclosed sum of money in exchange for a general release of all claims and a dismissal of Moehrl’s case.

The second case included claims of fraud, negligence, and breach of contractual duties in reference to a property acquisition made by Anywhere in concert with Sitzer/Burnett. In the settlement, Anywhere agreed to pay an agreed-upon sum of compensation and to return a portion of the real estate to Sitzer/Burnett.
