Cornerstone Home Loans, a new end-to-end digital mortgage platform, has been launched by Shahab Karmely, a former Wyndham Capital Mortgage executive. The platform provides a range of products to customers and allows them to find the best mortgages from a wide range of lenders. Karmely, who has over 13 years of experience in the mortgage industry, said the platform is designed to be a one-stop shop for mortgage customers.

The platform’s main feature is that it uses an algorithm that enables customers to quickly get pre-approved for a loan in minutes. Customers can also compare different mortgage options and rates from a variety of lenders and choose the best deal. The platform also features an automated document upload system, allowing customers to easily upload documents used to verify their financials. Additionally, the platform has in-house underwriting, which eliminates the need for customers to go through the entire pre-approval process with each lender.

An automated loan payoff calculator is another feature of the platform. This tool allows customers to estimate their loan payoff amount and compare the result with different types of loan refinancing options. The platform also lets customers apply for the loan online, eliminating the need for in-person appointments or physical paperwork. Furthermore, customers can track their loan progress in real-time, allowing them to stay up to date on the status of their loan application.

Karmely said Cornerstone Home Loans will provide an affordable, transparent and simple mortgage experience for customers. He believes that the platform could transform the mortgage process by making it more convenient and efficient for borrowers. The platform is currently only available in California, but Karmely is exploring other states to expand the platform’s reach.
