The city of Baldwin Park, California is repurposing a hotel into a multifamily complex specifically for homeless residents in order to help promote housing stability and address its homeless population. The apartments will be rent-controlled and include on-site case managers and access to supportive services. This initiative is part of a larger effort by the city to address its homeless population.
