An analysis of nSkope’s January-April listings predictions showed that 35% of all predicted listings had been converted into actual listings throughout July. This amounted to a whopping 301,314 properties. In particular, families with children under 24 living in the home were among the highest groups taking advantage of this trend.
Additionally, the study looked into 360 MSAs (Metropolitan Statistical Areas) throughout the US. Those located in the Southeast region reflected the most listings from January-April. But the Midwest region led the way in listings that were converted from predicted listings to actual listings. Once again, families with children under the age of 24 were recorded to be the highest group taking advantage of this process.
