NAHREP is launching a new trade organization to support Latino construction businesses and workers in accessing capital. The new organization will aim to increase access to construction loans and mentorship programs for small businesses, as well as provide support for workers in the industry.

NAHREP, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, is launching a new trade organization to support Latino construction businesses and workers in accessing capital. The new organization, Latino Construction, will aim to increase access to construction loans and mentorship programs for small businesses, as well as provide support for workers in the industry.

Latino Construction will work to increase access to capital for small businesses by establishing a construction loan guarantee program and partnering with financial institutions to increase lending to Latino-owned businesses. The organization will also work to connect small businesses with mentors and provide training on construction project management and contracting. For workers in the industry, Latino Construction will provide support through advocacy and education on workers’ rights, as well as job placement services.

The launch of Latino Construction is part of NAHREP’s commitment to creating economic opportunity for Latinos in the U.S. and bringing more Latinos into the home ownership process. By increasing access to capital and mentorship for small businesses, and providing support and education for workers, Latino Construction will help to create more jobs and businesses in the Latino community, and increase Latino home ownership.
