Real estate teams of all sizes have been performing well since the emergence of the 2021 market. According to the Streamlined Quarterly Team Benchmarking Report, teams of all sizes – from small offices to large brokerages — are achieving record-breaking numbers.
The report found that all team sizes are posting significant gains. Teams and offices with 20 or fewer agents were up an average of 17 percent in sales volume, and those with 34 or more agents were up 30 percent year-over-year regarding total listings and sold dollar volume. Additionally, time on market was significantly decreased, from an average of 55 days in 2020 to 50 in 2021, and the average seller side commission rate was 6.35 percent.
